  • A helicopter carousel is a cylindrical apparatus that hangs beneath a helicopter and holds from eight to sixteen bags of seismic supplies. The bags contain equipment that is dropped to crews on the ground. The bags hang on hooks which are connected to solenoids. When a solenoid is energized, it releases a bag allowing it to drop to the ground.

  • These card cages were removed from new equipment, and appear to be in perfect condition. They have 8 slots for 5.25″W x .5″H x ~7″D cards. The socket for each card is 2 groups of 2×18 contacts spaced at .125″. the backplane has wirewrap terminals for every contact, plus a terminal strip for power distribution, and a ribbon cable header.

  • The AMP-595 combines an MP3 digital player with an amplifier, two speakers, a SPST relay and push-button. The product was created for public displays with very high playback rates. The sound can be replayed hundreds of times per day with no reduction in media or player life. Sound is stored in the MP3 format, a highly compressed digital format. The basic unit comes with 32MB of storage – enough for about 30 minutes of sound at the highest quality playback rate.

  • The Smartec SMTIR99XX infrared sensors are sophisticated devices containing silicon infrared sensors and thermopiles. Thermopiles are structures composed of thermocouple junctions and convert thermal energy into electrical energy. The application of thin film technology allows the production of miniaturized and low cost sensor elements.

  • The SMT172 is a three-terminal integrated temperature sensor with a duty-cycle output suitable for microprocessor reading, while retaining analogue information. Available in various encapsulations and as a naked die, it offers high accuracy (0.1°C in -20°C to +60°C range) making it ideal for human-centric applications like climate control. For easy integration, online applications are available, and a specially designed Smart Temperature Acquisition System allows low-cost, high-accuracy measurements, even driving cable lengths up to 20 meters for remote sensing.

  • The Smart Pressure Device SPD series of pressure sensors are silicon based and encapsulated in all kind of housings. The pressure range can vary between about 10 mBar and 20 Bar gauge, absolute and differential. In case of the absolute version, the reference vacuum chamber is formed on the die during manufacturing.

  • The Universal Transducer Interface (UTI) converts sensor signals into time signals, eliminating the need for extra electronics and outputting in a digital format for micro-controllers. While the UTI operates in 16 modes and requires a matching reference element for accuracy, the newly introduced UTI Evaluation Kit USB simplifies measurements and offers modules for infrared sensor voltage porting.

  • The Smartec humidity sensor is a two terminal capacitor, which increases in value as water molecules are absorbed into its active polymer dielectric. The capacitor consists of a base plate and a water permeable platinum top plate.

  • These patch panels are intended for infrastructure installation in venues such as arenas, stadiums, theatres, concert halls, schools, etc. They provide a very robust and reliable XLR patch bay system that is easy and quick to install. Service life is expected to be several decades. Each panel contains 12 pairs of gold-plated Neutrik PC-mount male & female XLR connectors, all mounted on an internal PC board. The PC board connects the vertical columns of male and female connectors together and to Phoenix Spring Cage terminal blocks. The PC boards in panels with the DT-12 connectors also have gold-plated double-row headers that connect to twisted-pair ribbon cables that go to the DT-12 connector assembly.

  • The SBA-379 Stereo Balancing Amplifier, which comes in 2 versions, is an economical way to convert two unbalanced audio inputs to balanced outputs. The SBA-379 retains stereo separation with individual L/R gain, while the SBA-379-M model sums the stereo pair to mono and provides two balanced outputs with individual gain controls. Built for the cable TV industry, the mono version eliminates the distortion, unpredictable frequency response and potential equipment damage that can result when a Y-cable is used to sum two outputs. Conventional dual input connectors provide both RCA and screw terminals. The SBA-379 is built into a rugged diecast aluminum box. Power is provided via a 24 VDC CSA/UL approved adapter.
